Meet The Tote Project

The Tote Project mission to help survivors of human trafficking. Featured pouch is the Free To Protect pouch.

The Tote project was a vision brought to life in 2013 through entrepreneurs, Fay Grant and Michelle Chavez. Two best friends that shared a passion to make an impact in others by empowering survivors of human trafficking and providing these individuals opportunities to thrive.

Let me introduce you to these beautifully designed pouches! Each of the these cute, chic bags were hand-crafted by brave women in West Bengal, India while the batik tassels and linings are made from recycled sari fabrics. So cool, right? They make the perfect gift for yourself and friends – and on top of that – it’s for a good cause! 10% of the gross profits go to Two Wings, a non-profit organization that creates a path for a life of financial and physical independence. The organization is devoted to mentoring and coaching to empower survivors to pursue their dreams. The best part: they’ve already donated $29,911.38!

You are not able to change the world on your own, but through their mission, #HoldontoHope, you can become part of a community that touches one life at a time.

“A single act of kindness can create a ripple of hope that touches countless lives and inspires other to do that same” – Fay Grant
